Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, culturally responsive therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and groups as they navigate healing, growth, and self discovery. My clinical approach is grounded in trauma informed care/healing informed care and integrates evidence based practices with deep respect for each client’s lived experience, identity, and strengths. I have experience working with adults impacted by trauma, chronic stress, and life transitions, and I strive to bring a calm, authentic presence to the therapeutic space.

My approach to therapy

I value collaboration and believes therapy works best when clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I emphasize emotional safety, skill building, and insight while honoring cultural context and personal meaning. Whether supporting clients through recovery, identity development, or relationship challenges, I am committed to fostering resilience, clarity, and sustainable change.

I also offer therapeutic support for individuals and families navigating the emotional, psychological, and relational impacts of housing-related changes, including: support with anxiety, grief, recovery, decision fatigue, and financial stress that can arise during the home-buying/selling, repair, housing insecurity, sudden loss of housing, relocation, etc.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, grounded, and respectful space where we begin building trust at a pace that feels comfortable. I will invite you to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain, while also asking gentle questions to understand your history, strengths, and current challenges. There is no pressure to tell everything at once, and we will focus on what feels most important to you in the moment.

I will also explain how therapy works with me, including confidentiality, collaboration, and what support might look like moving forward. Together, we will identify initial goals and discuss next steps, so you leave the session with a sense of clarity, choice, and support rather than overwhelm.
