Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (Psy.D.) who works with adults, providing a warm, collaborative, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients from diverse backgrounds feel understood and supported.

As a multilingual and multicultural psychologist, I recognize that culture, identity, and life experiences shape each person's mental health journey. I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs while incorporating evidence-based approaches to help clients build resilience, gain insight, and achieve meaningful change.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and ADHD evaluations and psychological testing. Whether you are seeking support for emotional challenges or looking for clarity through assessment, I am committed to helping you improve your well-being and reach your personal goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all treatment, so I tailor therapy to each client's unique goals, strengths, and life experiences.

I primarily use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills to cope with life's challenges. When appropriate, I also incorporate psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences and relationships may influence current patterns, helping clients gain deeper insight and lasting change.

Above all, I strive to provide a caring, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll begin with an intake assessment where I'll get to know you, your background, your current concerns, and what brings you to therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process, my approach, and what you hope to achieve.

The first session is not only about gathering information—it's also about building a connection and determining whether we're a good fit to work together. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and develop a plan that best supports your needs.
