Great to meet you!

I'm Nuria Clarke-Fargharson, a mental health counselor with 21 years of combined experience as a school counselor and 2 years in clinical practice supporting individuals, couples, and families. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate some of life's most challenging transitions, and I've learned something important along the way: people don't need to be judged for where they are; they need a safe place to be heard and feel understood. For clients seeking therapy in their native language, I am a fully bilingual, Spanish-speaking counselor.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, conversational, compassionate, and solution-focused. I don't believe in sitting across from you simply telling you what you should do. Instead, we'll work together to understand what's happening beneath the surface, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical ways to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a warm, trusting therapeutic relationship. I will explain what you can expect from the therapy process and create a welcoming, supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

We will explore your personal history, background, current concerns, and what has led you to seek therapy. We will also discuss your goals, what you hope to achieve, and how we can work together to help you move toward greater understanding, healing, and personal growth.

My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin this journey together.
