Great to meet you!
I believe every person makes sense in the context of their life experiences. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I ask, "What happened to you?" and "How have your experiences shaped the way you see yourself, others, and the world?"
My approach is humanistic, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I do not view people as diagnoses or labels. Instead, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and survival strategies that once protected them but may no longer serve them. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace.
As both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, betrayal, grief, life transitions, and family conflict. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and mindfulness while tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs and goals.
