Meet Dr. Nwayieze Ndukwe,

Adult and Geriatric Psychiatrist

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient, community, academic, and forensic settings. My clinical practice is rooted in a patient-centered approach, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based treatment.

I earned my Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. I went on to complete my residency training in Adult Psychiatry and a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

As a means to reach this holistic goal, I offer evidence-based medication management when appropriate, along with therapeutic interventions during appointments that are tailored to the individual’s needs and preferences. This integrative style allows for both medical and psychological dimensions of care to be addressed in a thoughtful, collaborative manner.
