Great to meet you!

Imagine how it would feel to regain your emotional stability, rekindle your joy and energy for living, and resolve lingering issues that have been draining you and preventing your from being fully present in your life.

I help adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, overcoming past trauma and dealing with challenging life transitions. Therapy can help you reclaim your clarity and autonomy so you can have the capacity to connect and engage in those aspects of your life that matter to you. With renewed focus and purpose, it is possible to overcome old patterns of thinking and acting that keep you feeling stuck and begin to move forward in spite of setbacks.

As an immigrant myself, I have a heart for working with immigrants, refugees and trauma survivors, and empathize with those who seek a sense of home, belonging and identity in our changing world. Maybe you feel burned out from carrying too many responsibilities and expectations. Or you feel burdened by past traumas and need a sanctuary where you can find your balance and headspace. Or you just need to be quiet and filter out the noise of the outside world so you can identify your own voice and personal values.

Therapy can help you heal from the past, reconnect with your creativity and feel alive and inspired to participate in your own life.

My approach to therapy

I work with a combination of person centered and somatic approaches that engage both your mind and body. I use EMDR to help people process past traumatic experiences so that they can stop feeling stuck and begin to move forward in their lives.

I use depth psychology to help people explore their inner world and reveal hidden beliefs, shadow parts, fears, dreams and creative impulses that lie under our conscious awareness. When brought to the light of consciousness, these elements of the psyche can enrich us with insights and revelations that can help us realign with our larger Self.

My clinical focus incorporates cultural safety, trauma recovery and psychological exploration.

What you can expect from me

During our initial sessions, we will collaborate to identify your therapy goals, hopes and expectations. Then we will create a plan to target them in a way that helps you start to get your life back. We will use a structured approach to build on your strengths and resources so you can use them as we work on the issues that bring you to therapy.
