Great to meet you!

Greetings My name is Dr. Nyasha and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have 20+ years experience working in a variety of settings to include inpatient, outpatient and tele-health and community. I have had the opportunity to work with diverse groups to include active duty, reserve and retired military members and their families, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, work/life (EAP) and individuals making various life transitions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a holistic approach when working with clients, which entails embracing the "whole person" and making efforts to understand how the pieces of each individuals lives impacts their daily functioning. It is important to identify strengths and interest in order to draw upon these aspects in order to develop a comprehensive approach to treatment which is custom and unique for each individual. It would be my honor to support you as you work towards achieving your dreams.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients should feel empowered to live their best lives, while continuing to build skills to help them overcome life's challenges with confidence. Contact me to schedule for Washington, DC as well.
