Nyree Smith

Hi, I'm Nyree, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my nursing graduate degree, a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University, and completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Western Governors University. I provide psychiatric mental health care for adults (18+), children (6+), and adolescents. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work together to improve your mental health. I take a collaborative approach; your voice and preferences matter, and we'll adjust the plan as we learn what helps most. My focus areas include: Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Panic Disorder, Bipolar Disorders, PTSD, Trauma, Sleep issues, Emotional Dysregulation Impulsivity, and Mood and Behavior concerns in children/adolescents.

During our visits, we talk through what you are experiencing, discuss your goals, and create a plan that includes treatment options such as medication management, therapy recommendations, and lifestyle support. My priority is to make sure you feel safe, respected, and involved at every step.

Your first visit is about getting to know you, your goals, your history, and what has or hasn't worked before. After that, we'll build a treatment plan and check in regularly to see what's helping and what needs adjusting.
