Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC), and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), I believe prioritizing mental health is essential to living a balanced and fulfilling life. Seeking support can be one of the hardest steps, so I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin this journey. With more than 20 years of experience in the helping professions, I focus on supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

Everyone’s journey is unique, and I believe therapy should reflect that. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. Once we begin working together, we will partner in your therapeutic journey—creating a safe and supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing openly and honestly. It’s important to me that you feel respected, heard, and understood. I will be there to listen, guide, challenge unhelpful patterns, and support you as you develop the tools and confidence needed to move forward in your life.

What you can expect from me

I begin with an introductory session where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll work together to explore your concerns and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable being open and vulnerable, while also feeling safe and respected. From there, we’ll collaborate in future sessions to build effective coping strategies, increase insight, and help you move toward the changes and growth you’re seeking.
