Great to meet you!

Nice to meet you! I'm Obidi (oh-bee-dee). I’m a Double Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice. I have over 12 years of experience providing care for a wide range of illnesses and health conditions.

Throughout my career, I have developed extensive clinical expertise in addressing diverse patient needs and delivering individualized, patient-centered care. Currently, my practice focuses primarily on individuals experiencing mental health conditions, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. My purpose is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and individualized care that is tailored to each person’s unique needs, circumstances, and treatment goals. My decision to work in mental healthcare is deeply personal, inspired by family members and extended loved ones who have been affected by mental health challenges. I want to make a meaningful difference by creating a safe, respectful, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, staying active, watching comedies and action movies, and spending time with friends and loved ones.

My approach to therapy

I believe every client is unique, so treatment should never feel like a one-size-fits-all experience. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take time to understand what may be contributing to them and how they are affecting your everyday life. We’ll work together to identify your priorities, talk through treatment options, and create a plan that feels realistic, meaningful, and aligned with your goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and better understand what brought you to care. We’ll talk about your current concerns, medical and mental health history, medications, lifestyle, stressors, strengths, and personal goals. You can expect a warm, collaborative conversation, with space to ask questions and share what matters most to you. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out and schedule a time to connect.
