Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Obinna Ezealor, DNP, PMHNP‐BC, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, and long‐term psychiatric settings. My work spans general and addiction psychiatry, and I have extensive experience supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe every client deserves care that honors their story, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. As the owner and CEO of KALM Behavioral Health Inc., I focus on understanding each person’s unique needs, background, and goals. I provide treatment across the entire lifespan and support clients with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD, bipolar and other mood disorders, OCD, schizophrenia, and impulsivity.

I believe that no two clients are the same, so every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, their personal qualities, strengths, and lived experiences. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing process.

What you can expect from me

At your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and professional experience. We offer both in‐person and HIPAA‐compliant telehealth appointments, making it easy to receive care in the way that feels most comfortable for you.

During the visit, we will focus on understanding your concerns, history, and goals so we can begin building a treatment plan that truly fits your needs. Our services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, supportive counseling, and medication management, all grounded in evidence‐based practice.

Our priority is to ensure that you feel heard, respected, and at ease from the very beginning. We are committed to making your first session and every session after a pleasant and meaningful step toward your well‐being.
