Great to meet you!

Odeline Jean-Baptiste is a licensed therapist and the founder of a client-centered group practice providing therapy services in Florida and Alabama. With over a decade of experience in hospital and private practice settings, Odeline works with children, teens, adults, couples, and families seeking meaningful change. Her approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based care designed to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered.

Odeline holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is trained in trauma-informed therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma (sexual, emotional, and physical), grief and loss, work burnout, bipolar disorder, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and life transitions, helping clients build healthier coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience.

The practice offers in-person therapy in Florida and secure virtual therapy throughout Florida and Alabama, making high-quality mental health care accessible and flexible. Whether you are searching for therapy in Florida or Alabama, trauma-focused counseling, or support for anxiety, depression, or life stress, Odeline and her team provide a safe, non-judgmental space where healing, growth, and lasting change can begin.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, intentional, and deeply relational. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re unsure where to begin or have learned to carry things on your own for a long time. I meet clients exactly where they are—whether you’re feeling stuck, emotionally drained, guarded, or simply curious about making changes. Sessions with me are a space to slow down, be honest, and explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

I use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness, blending structure with flexibility so therapy feels supportive rather than overwhelming. Together, we focus on increasing emotional awareness, building practical coping tools, strengthening boundaries, and shifting patterns that no longer serve you. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and empowering—helping you reconnect with yourself, gain clarity, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.

What you can expect from me

Working with me feels supportive, grounded, and collaborative. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—I help guide the process while honoring your pace and comfort level. Sessions are conversational and intentional, with space to reflect, explore patterns, and gently challenge what may be holding you back. I focus on helping you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and better equipped to navigate life with clarity and balance.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building trust. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any concerns you may have about starting. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is simply the beginning. Together, we’ll set a direction that feels meaningful and manageable, so you leave feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
