Hi, I'm Dr. Umugbe — and I'm here to help you make sense of what you're going through.

I'm a board-certified General, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults navigate some of the most challenging mental health conditions out there — psychotic disorders, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and more. I see patients via telehealth and also offer in-person visits in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Two decades in this field has taught me one thing above everything else: the best care starts with truly knowing the person in front of you. Not just their diagnosis — their story, their symptoms, how long they've been carrying this, and how it's affecting their daily life. That's always where I begin.

What our work together looks like: I'll take the time to understand your full picture before we talk about next steps. Together, we'll work toward a clear diagnosis, and then we'll build a medication management plan that's tailored specifically to you. I don't hand you a prescription and send you on your way. I make sure you understand your condition, what we're treating, and why we're approaching it the way we are. Knowledge is part of the treatment.

My goal is simple: help you function better and feel better — in your relationships, your work, your daily life. Whatever that looks like for you, that's what we're working toward. I want you to come away understanding how and why you're feeling the way you do and how and why our treatment plan we come up with together will help.
