Great to meet you!

Psychiatric Care for Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD & Life Stress

I’m Dayo Momoh, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care, medication management, and therapy for adults.

I specialize in treating:

  • Anxiety disorders, excessive worry, and panic attacks
  • Depression, low motivation, and mood disorders
  • ADHD, focus, concentration, and executive functioning difficulties
  • Bipolar disorder and mood instability
  • PTSD, trauma, and emotional distress
  • OCD, intrusive thoughts, overthinking, and rumination
  • Insomnia and sleep difficulties
  • Stress, burnout, and adjustment to life changes
  • Work, relationship, family, and cultural stressors

Many of my patients seek care because they feel anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, unfocused, unmotivated, or simply not like themselves. These symptoms may be affecting work, relationships, sleep, productivity, or everyday life. Others have tried psychiatric medications before but are still struggling with symptoms or unwanted side effects.

I help patients work toward greater stability, clarity, focus, emotional balance, and confidence through personalized psychiatric treatment that addresses the person—not just the diagnosis.

My approach to therapy

Medication Management + Therapy — Personalized to You

My treatment style combines thoughtful psychiatric medication management with therapy-informed care. I believe effective mental health treatment starts with understanding what you’re experiencing, how it affects your daily life, what you’ve already tried, and what you want to change.

My approach incorporates evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supportive therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Depending on your needs, we may work on:

  • Managing anxiety, panic, and excessive worry
  • Challenging negative or unhelpful thought patterns
  • Improving ADHD focus, organization, and motivation
  • Managing depression and mood changes
  • Processing trauma and PTSD symptoms
  • Reducing intrusive thoughts, overthinking, and rumination
  • Building emotional regulation and healthier coping skills
  • Navigating relationships, boundaries, work stress, and burnout

When medication is appropriate, I use it thoughtfully and aim to avoid unnecessary medications whenever possible. I want you to understand what you're taking, why you're taking it, potential benefits and side effects, and the alternatives available to you.

Treatment is collaborative. You’ll have a voice in your care, and together we’ll develop a psychiatric treatment plan that fits your symptoms, needs, lifestyle, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Feel Heard. Understand Your Treatment. Know What Comes Next.

My goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling heard, understood, supported, and clear about your next steps.

I work closely with:

  • Adults struggling with anxiety, depression, panic, or chronic stress
  • Adults with ADHD who struggle with focus, motivation, organization, or productivity
  • Individuals living with bipolar disorder or mood instability
  • Individuals healing from PTSD, trauma, or difficult life experiences
  • Adults experiencing OCD, intrusive thoughts, overthinking, or rumination
  • Professionals experiencing workplace stress or burnout
  • Individuals navigating relationships, family conflict, cultural expectations, or major life transitions
  • Patients who have tried psychiatric medications but still don’t feel like themselves

During our sessions, we’ll openly discuss what’s working, what isn’t, medication effectiveness, side effects, symptoms, and your overall progress. You won’t simply receive a prescription—you’ll understand your treatment options and be involved in decisions about your mental health care.

If you’re looking for a psychiatric provider who is approachable, compassionate, collaborative, and focused on meaningful improvement, I’d be happy to work with you.

At Kaytom Advanced Psychiatry, you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start with what you’re experiencing today and work together toward helping you feel more stable, focused, confident, and like yourself again.
