Great to meet you!

Olajumoke Adeyemi, NP, is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Long beach, California. I specialize in maternal mental health and am dual board-certified in Family Practice and Psychiatry. This combined background allows me to understand both the medical and emotional complexities that can arise during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the transition into motherhood.

I support women experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, mood changes, intrusive thoughts, irritability, emotional overwhelm, and sleep disruption. My approach is compassionate, individualized, and centered on helping you feel more emotionally grounded and supported during this important stage of life.

If you’re reading this and quietly wondering, “Why does this feel so much harder than I thought it would?” — you are not alone.

Motherhood can be beautiful and deeply meaningful, but it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, exhausting, and heavy. You can love your baby fiercely and still feel anxious, tearful, irritable, depleted, or simply unlike yourself.

Struggling does not mean you are failing as a mother. Sometimes, it means you need a space where your well-being matters, too.

You deserve compassionate care that recognizes you as a whole person—not only as a mother. With appropriate support and treatment, it is possible to feel more like yourself again and experience motherhood with greater confidence, stability, and connection.

My approach to therapy

I integrate medical and therapeutic prospectives. I am trained to provide therapy and also to evaluate whether medication might be helpful. That allows us to look at your mental health from multiple lens and create a comprehensive treatment Plan.

I work with clients who may be struggling with ADHD, , Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, postpartum depression, Postpartum Anxiety Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders(PMADs), OCD, Birth Trauma , Pregnancy, Premenstrual Dysphoria, Adjustment to motherhood and Menopause. In our early session, we explore your symptoms, history, and patterns to build a personalized plan. Many Clients notice improved clarity and mood within weeks. We will adjust our approach for consistent progress

I provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a safe, HIPAA-compliant virtual environment grounded in trust, open communication, and collaboration. My goal is to partner with you in your healing journey and support meaningful, sustainable progress.
