Great to meet you!

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in medication management for Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD, etc.

I know that starting or changing medication can feel overwhelming. My goal is to take the fear out of the process. I don't just write prescriptions; I partner with you to find the right regimen that fits your unique biology and lifestyle, aiming for maximum relief with the fewest side effects.

I treat children, teens, adults, and seniors, offering a safe, judgment-free space where you will be heard, not rushed. Whether you are dealing with focus issues, resistant depression, or anxiety that won't lift, we will work together to get you feeling like yourself again.

I also specialize in Dual Diagnosis treatment. If you are using alcohol or substances to cope with anxiety or trauma, I offer a judgment-free medical approach to help you regain control. We will address both the mental health triggers and the physical cravings to support your long-term recovery.

My approach to therapy

I believe that medication is a powerful tool, but it is most effective when treated as part of a 'whole person' strategy. My approach is holistic and collaborative; I treat the person, not just the diagnosis.

During our sessions, we won't just discuss symptoms; we will look at your sleep, stress levels, nutrition, and daily routine to identify all the factors affecting your mental health. I value shared decision-making, which means I will take the time to explain the 'why' behind every medication recommendation, ensuring you feel comfortable and informed before we move forward.

Whether we are adjusting a current regimen or starting something new, my goal is to help you achieve stability and clarity so you can get back to living your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main goal is to understand your history and remove the guesswork from your treatment. We will start with a comprehensive evaluation covering your medical history, current symptoms, and past experiences with medication.

You can expect a conversation, not just a checklist. We will discuss what has or hasn't worked for you in the past to avoid repeating unsuccessful treatments. By the end of our time together, we will have a collaborative plan in place; whether that involves starting a new medication, adjusting a current one, or integrating lifestyle changes, so you leave the appointment with clarity and a path forward.
