My name is Olatunde Akinfolajimi. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I got my degree from Walden University. In my years of working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have diagnosed and treated patients with various mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders and schizophrenia.
My approach to providing care as a psychiatric nurse practitioner is to focus on holistic and patient-centered. I begin with comprehensive assessments of the patient's medical, social and personal history. This information allows me to personalize evidence-based treatment plans that combines pharmacotherapy and limited psychotherapy.
