Great to meet you!

Are you feeling hopeless? Stuck? Fearful? Uncomfortable in your skin or in your relationships? We all know that pain in life is unavoidable, but I'd love to help you carry that burden while we work towards solutions. I aim to create a space where you will not be judged, but will be unconditionally supported as we navigate through your concerns and fears. I believe that you are the expert on your life, and will bring my expertise in therapy to collaboratively find the relief and the balance that you seek.

There is no "magic wand" that works for everyone so my goal is to work with you to find what works for you specifically. In every session, you will be met with kindness, unconditional positive regard and a dose of humor. You will do some hard work, but you won't be doing it alone.

If this sounds like the kind of support you're looking for, you can book a session with me directly through my Headway page.

My approach to therapy

I am a California-licensed psychologist with a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree and experience providing psychotherapy to people from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. My clinical work focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, challenges related to work and personal identity, and more.

My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and individualized. I believe therapy should provide both a supportive space to better understand yourself and concrete tools that can help create meaningful change in everyday life.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness-based techniques, insight-oriented work, and skills for emotional regulation, communication, and stress management. Depending on the client’s needs, sessions may focus on examining unhelpful thought patterns, improving coping strategies, strengthening boundaries, processing difficult experiences, or developing new ways of responding to recurring problems.

I particularly enjoy working with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or ready to make significant changes in their lives. My goal is to help clients gain greater clarity, resilience, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction.

If you feel my approach may be a good fit, I welcome you to schedule an initial appointment.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to understand what brings you to therapy, what has been difficult recently, and what you would like to change or improve. We will talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and the goals that feel most important to you.

I aim to create a calm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly at your own pace. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet, and there is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with.

By the end of the first session, my goal is for us to have a clearer understanding of what you are experiencing, what you would like to work toward, and how therapy can best support you. Together, we will begin developing a treatment direction that feels practical, realistic, and tailored to your individual needs.
