I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working in a psychiatric hospital and private practice. I understand that starting therapy is not easy. But neither is living the life of disappointments and regrets. I am here to offer a space where you will learn to believe in yourself and remove the roadblocks that stand between you and your life goals.
I practice psychotherapy that is informed by the traditions of psychoanalysis and look at each individual in the context of this person's unique life story. Together we will be focusing on your emotional and somatic experiences, dreams, and fantasies as much as on your thoughts and reasoning.
In our first session, I will explain the rationale for the theoretical framework I use and together we will decide if it is a good fit for you.
