Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 28 years experience, I work with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures tailoring therapy to align with your unique goals and experiences. My approach is nonjudgemental and compassionate while offering treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress and work/life balance, goal setting and life transitions. Currently, I have shifted my main focus to working with individuals aged 30 and older.

My approach to therapy

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) as well as solution focused brief therapy (SFBT). Utilizing some or all of these techniques will provide an ample and supportive environment in which to explore the issues you desire to address. I speak Spanish and specialize in Women's Issues and BIPOC.

What you can expect from me

I will work with you to set up therapeutic goals that are both meaningful and achievable. These goals will challenge patterns that don't align with your values and will help develop effective coping strategies/skills for you to practice both in and outside of therapy. I am here to support you in your journey with empathy and a nurturing environment. I look forward to providing a safe place for you to explore the issues that are most important to you
