Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel difficult, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m a bilingual psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience working in Mexico and the United States. I support children age six and older, adolescents, adults, and groups who are navigating trauma, emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, codependency, self-esteem, or other challenges that may be getting in the way of feeling well.

I specialize in EMDR and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and I hold a master’s degree and doctorate in Gestalt Psychotherapy. My approach is creative, compassionate, and grounded in your unique needs, goals, and pace. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing, build resilience, and identify practical steps toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach tailored to your circumstances, goals, and pace, drawing primarily from Gestalt Therapy, EMDR, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). These approaches can help you develop greater self-awareness, process distressing experiences, manage difficult emotions, and create healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

Therapy is a collaborative process. I’ll offer a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself. We’ll work together to better understand your experiences and identify steps that feel meaningful and manageable for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect to feel heard, understood, and supported. We’ll identify your primary concerns, establish meaningful goals, and create a clear understanding of how therapy can help you reach them.

I’ll meet you with deep empathy and extensive clinical experience while helping you build hope and confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges. As we work together, you’ll develop effective coping strategies and move toward greater emotional well-being at a pace that feels right for you.
