Great to meet you!

I’m a Seton Hall University graduate with both my undergraduate degree, where I received degrees in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, and women’s studies, and my Master’s in Social Work. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including women’s residential programs supporting individuals with co-occurring disorders, as well as agencies assisting survivors of labor and sex trafficking. I’ve also worked in a residential home for individuals with developmental and learning disabilities and significant mental health needs. In addition to providing care coordination for adults navigating mental health and substance use treatment, I serve as an Intensive In-Community therapist supporting children and teens. These diverse experiences shape my deeply compassionate, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to helping clients heal, grow, and feel understood.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. There will also be plenty of space to laugh- therapy, does not have to be so heavy all of the time! I work to build a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface including but not limited to your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns, to help you move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where they can speak freely and at their own pace. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and understood from the moment we begin. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to change or improve in your life. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, your strengths, and the challenges you’re facing, but there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

Together, we’ll start identifying initial goals—whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving communication, decreasing depressive symptoms, processing grief, managing emotions, increasing motivation, healing from past experiences, or simply gaining clarity. I’ll also explain how therapy works, what our sessions might look like, and how we’ll collaborate moving forward. By the end of the first meeting, clients usually walk away with a sense of direction, a clearer understanding of next steps, and the reassurance that they are supported in a safe, empathetic environment designed to help them grow and feel better.
