Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Olivia and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Arizona. I have worked in various behavioral health settings for the past eight years, both in rural and urban communities. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach is informed by the modalities I have been trained in and use in my clinical practice thus far. I have received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Each client has unique strengths, goals, and needs that inform how they work through problems to achieve their goals. I firmly believe every client has within them the ability to overcome life's challenges, and therapy is the catalyst to realizing one's potential and healing.

What you can expect from me

Therapy sessions with me are generally open, unstructured and guided by the client. Although I do believe initial sessions require some guidance to "set the stage" for treatment goals, therapy is a space for the client to tell their story, reflect, learn, and ultimately heal. Each session will look different depending on what topics come up. My only expectation is that clients take something away from each session to reflect on, practice or both. Every session is a stepping stone!
