Olivia Holden

Welcome to my practice! I have worked as a therapist in a variety of settings and roles for seven years with children, teens and adults. I hold my Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University and have a background in dance and movement which includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY-Purchase and fifteen years as a Pilates and Gyrotonic Exercise instructor. I enjoy working with 16+ aged clients who are curious about themselves and want to make positive changes in their lives.

I bring openness and curiosity to your life experience so that you and I can better understand where you are in your life and where you would like to go. Only once you are able to accept your yourself as you are, change can occur. To help you increase mindful-awareness and change your relationship to your thoughts, I draw on elements of Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Trauma-Informed Therapy as well as elements of ACT, DBT and CBT.

I offer a warm, calm, compassionate environment in which you feel supported and safe to explore and bring curiosity to your life experiences. This allows you and I to partner together and ask questions which promote deeper understanding of what you want from your life and support you in achieving your goals.
