Olivia Lopez

Hi! I'm Olivia, a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. I believe that every individual has the ability to grow and heal when they are provided with a safe, accepting, and supportive environment. I graduated from Webster University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. For the past two years I have worked as a school-based mental health provider for children and their families. I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, behavioral concerns, difficulties with emotional regulation, life transitions, and social difficulties. I strive to create a warm and welcoming space where youth can feel seen, accepted, and empowered to be themselves. Together, we will celebrate strengths, build resilience, and cultivate emotional and self-awareness.

I use a blend of play-based, narrative, and strength-based therapy.

The first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship. We will focus on helping the youth feel safe, comfortable, and accepted. Youth are invited to explore the virtual space through various interactive and rapport building activities. Throughout our time together, I will be collaborating with the caregivers to get a better understand of the youth and create a plan that supports the youth's emotional growth and well-being.
