Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Headway. I am often described as humorous, caring, and thoughtful. I am first generation Ugandan-American. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy and Practice at The University of Chicago and specialized in Family Support. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Some of the joys in my life include going to festivals, laying at the beach, hiking, and watching Survivor.

My approach to therapy

I work from a decolonizing, systemic lens in therapy. I utilize a range of modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodynamic therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Feminist Therapy to explore trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, life transitions, personal growth and self-esteem.

What you can expect from me

My clients experience me as supportive, open-minded and grounding. I believe in uncovering and uplifting your unique strengths, creating an individualized experience while holistically accounting for the identities and systems that impact your world. We will work in collaboration to establish openness and safety as you build towards greater healing and wholeness.
