My approach to therapy

Dr. Liv embraces a holistic approach to self-care and mental health, focusing on deep emotional and spiritual nourishment. My mission is to empower you to nurture your mind, body, and soul, helping you find the balance and strength to thrive. Join me on this journey to holistic well-being and inner harmony. You deserve it!

What you can expect from me

First session:

Our initial engagement begins with an intake process that involves a detailed assessment of your needs and goals. This includes discussing your history, present concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. Therapy participants are measured by improved emotional regulation, coping skills, and relationship dynamics. Regular check-ins help adjust our approach based on your evolving needs and responses to treatment.

Between sessions, you’ll have time to reflect on our work together, apply the tools, and practice the strategies we’ve discussed. While we won’t be in contact outside of our scheduled sessions, you can trust that each session will give you what you need to progress between appointments. You can easily do that through the client portal if you need to cancel or reschedule. Even though we have limited access outside of sessions, I’m fully committed to ensuring each meeting moves you closer to your goals and the results you seek.

After session:

I want you to feel safe, understood, and empowered during our sessions. This is a space where you can express yourself freely without fear of judgment. I want you to feel fully supported as we navigate your challenges and celebrate your strengths and wins together. I want you to leave each session feeling heard, validated, seen, and equipped with practical tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.
