Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care across diverse populations. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, Illinois, in April 2025. Prior to that, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rowan University, New Jersey, in December 2022, and my Associate of Science in Nursing from Rowan College at Burlington County in December 2021.

I am licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and have specialized experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of mental health conditions. My clinical approach emphasizes patient safety, evidence-based practice, and collaborative care. I am committed to ongoing medication management, comprehensive psychiatric follow-up, and working closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

As a member of the American Nurses Association, I remain engaged in advancing professional standards and lifelong learning within the nursing field. I am passionate about delivering empathetic, high-quality care and supporting individuals in achieving improved mental health and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My clinical focus is on comprehensive psychiatric assessment and ongoing management of mental health conditions across the lifespan, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, PTSD, and neurocognitive disorders such as dementia. I also routinely address behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with cognitive decline, especially in older adults in long-term care settings.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a structured but supportive evaluation focused on understanding their concerns, establishing safety, and beginning a clear plan for care. My primary goal in the first session is to understand the full clinical picture not just symptoms, but how those symptoms are affecting quality of life, safety, and functioning. From there, I begin to identify a working diagnosis or differential diagnosis, while remaining open to refinement over time as more information becomes available.

Clients can also expect a focus on safety and risk assessment, including screening for suicidal ideation, self-harm risk, aggression, or psychotic symptoms when relevant. If immediate concerns are identified, those are addressed right away with appropriate interventions or referrals.
