Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and supported without judgment. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker and mental health therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and discover their capacity for growth and healing.

I bring warmth, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and practical insight into every session. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, or major life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe and welcoming space where you feel respected, empowered, and supported as you work toward meaningful change

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Drawing on my experience working with individuals and couples, I help clients identify unhelpful thoughts, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier coping skills. Sessions combine compassionate listening with practical strategies for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment. I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, so my priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected.

We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, review relevant aspects of your personal history, and identify what you hope to accomplish. I’ll also explain confidentiality, answer your questions, and discuss how we can work together.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling understood, encouraged, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
