Great to meet you!

Dr. Tamilore Odimayo is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor; Board board-certified forensic Mental Health Evaluator, and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in Springfield, Illinois. He is an avid mental health advocate whose goal is to reduce mental health stigma globally. He has authored two self-help books to improve relationships and one to improve mental health wellness.

My approach to therapy

He focuses on a holistic approach to mental health improvement through intellectual stimulation, relationship restructuring, diet restructuring, and exercise. His extensive experience includes working with acute trauma care and counseling co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance abuse). “Wellness requires a safe space to process what’s needed to achieve a social, physical, spiritual, financial & mental balance."

What you can expect from me

I firmly believe that everybody has the potential to reach their maximum potential. My goal is to apply CBT, DBT, Existential, and the BLT approach to help you break up with habits, people, and things that no longer serve you. Awareness is the first step towards action, and action is the first step towards wellness. For tips, visit Instagram @TamiOdimayo
