Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and results-oriented Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a strong background in primary care, mental health, and chronic disease management. I specialize in supporting adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders, especially when intertwined with complex medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or chronic pain with 10 years of clinical experience in both primary care and behavioral health, my approach integrates physical and emotional wellness—helping clients build resilience, insight, and confidence in managing life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Modification, and the Unified Protocol (UP) to address the emotional and behavioral patterns that interfere with well-being. I believe in a collaborative, goal-oriented, and culturally sensitive process that respects each client’s unique experiences and values. I focus on helping clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact—and use evidence-based techniques to promote lasting change. My sessions emphasize empathy, self-awareness, and skill-building for long-term emotional balance.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a calm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we’ll discuss your current challenges, medical and mental health background, and personal goals for therapy. Together, we’ll create a personalized care plan that aligns with your values and priorities. I aim to ensure every client leaves the first session feeling heard, understood, and empowered with practical next steps toward improved well-being.
