I start with a detailed assessment , get to know you—not just your symptoms, but your experiences, concerns, goals, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. During the initial appointment, we’ll discuss your mental health history, current symptoms, medications, lifestyle, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being.
From there, we’ll work together to develop an individualized treatment plan based on your needs and preferences. When medication is appropriate, I take a thoughtful approach to medication management, discussing potential benefits, risks, alternatives, and what you can expect.
Follow-up visits provide an opportunity to check your progress, address concerns or side effects, and make adjustments when needed. I believe treatment works best when we communicate openly and make decisions together.
