Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued. I believe that every person’s story is unique. My goal is to work alongside you to understand your concerns, identify your strengths, and develop a personalized treatment plan that supports your mental wellness and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and holistic. I believe that the best outcomes come from building a trusting relationship and involving you in every step of your treatment. I take time to listen carefully, understand your goals, and provide education so you can make informed decisions about your care. I use evidence-based practices, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management when appropriate, and supportive therapy techniques. I also consider how your physical health, lifestyle, relationships, and environment may be affecting your mental well-being to develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

What you can expect from me

During your first appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, family history, and the goals you hope to achieve through treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share anything you think is important. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss my clinical impressions, review treatment options, and develop a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, or referrals if needed. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about your path forward.
