Great to meet you!

My goal is to establish good rapport to build a united front. I am person centered with my practice. In addition, its in my nature to be curious so I hold space to process. I have worked with youth, couples, and adults and have learned over the years how to take what Im given and respect it in a non-judgemental way.

My approach to therapy

My first interactions with clients is learning the 5 Ws and establishing ways I could aid with the adjustments in peoples lives. I look at disorders as adaptations to what life brings and establish an open ended approach. I love metaphors and use them alot when discussing hope. Think of therapy as us rowing a boat together, I will point out the flaws and provide some direction as you paddle. I will not judge or pry unless I know there is danger. Once your able to navigate life on your own I step off the boat and allow you to use the knowledge we have learned in this process.

What you can expect from me

Sometimes its best to start off with an ice breaker, some small activity works for people that are first starting therapy. I will set space for feedback and establish an open conversation on the goals your trying to set.
