Great to meet you!

My name is Onyinye Anyakudo (Onyii). I am a family and Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have been a nurse practitioner since 2018. In the past I have worked with the cardiology group as well as internal medicine group. I worked in the ICU for over 10 years prior to becoming an NP. I am passionate about my patients and would go to every length to ensure their safety and well-being. I specialize in caring for patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Personality disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorder to mention a few.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take the approach of integrative care. I want my patients to know that I care for them, not just the particular illness but them as a whole. I do understand that each individual is unique, I therefore employ different modalities in caring for them. I value and respect their time and appreciate the trust they have in me. Attentive listening is an invaluable tool I find helpful when caring for my patients. I make them understand that I hear them.

What you can expect from our first session

I want my clients to know and understand that I care for them. My goal is to support and work towards improving their health. My aim is to collaborate with them to provide a conducive environment where they are empowered, heard and valued. Each session is tailored to each individual’s needs, whether that means working through challenges, setting meaningful goals, or cultivating healthier thought patterns and behaviors. I want my clients to leave each session with a sense of fulfillment,
