Great to meet you!

Onyinye Marygrace Obiorah, PMHNP-BC Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

At Blooming Minds Psychiatry PLLC, we believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and supported. We understand that seeking help for your mental health takes strength, and we are here to walk beside you every step of the way—with compassion, clinical expertise, and care that honors your unique story.

Led by Onyinye Marygrace Obiorah, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), our practice provides thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions. We specialize in psychiatric evaluations, personalized treatment planning, and medication management, and integrate therapeutic approaches such as CBT to support your emotional and psychological well-being.

At Blooming Minds, you're not just a patient—you’re a partner in your care. Together, we’ll create a space where growth feels possible and healing can begin.

My approach to therapy

Our style is warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned. With a nursing background in behavioral health, medical-surgical, maternal, and correctional settings, we understand the many ways mental health intersects with every part of life. We approach each person holistically, recognizing the courage it takes to seek care and the importance of building a trusting therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with us, you can expect a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we will work to better understand your experiences and identify the challenges that impact your well-being.

You’ll gain practical tools and strategies to manage difficult emotions, reduce symptoms, and improve your daily functioning. Whether through therapy techniques like CBT or medication support, our goal is to empower you to feel more in control and hopeful about your mental health journey.
