Dr. Ophelia Blackwell is a dedicated and compassionate licensed clinical professional counselor committed to guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing, growth, and transformation. With a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, specializing in Marriage and Family Studies from Kansas State University, she brings deep expertise in relationship dynamics, trauma recovery, and personal development.
As a National Board Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Kansas State Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Blackwell incorporates an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy. She believes in the power of self-discovery and strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore, heal, and thrive. Her therapeutic framework includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—a transformative approach proven effective in processing trauma and alleviating distress.
