Great to meet you!

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I am open-minded, easy to talk to, and strive to build genuine connections that make therapy feel more like a conversation than an interview. Many people describe me as someone who feels familiar, like they’ve known me for years. I believe in using humor, collaboration, and practical strategies to help navigate life’s challenges while honoring each person’s culture, experiences, and values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that every person is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide support, guidance, and tools to help them reach their goals. I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and talking openly about their experiences. I use a strengths-based approach, helping clients recognize their resilience while developing practical strategies to manage challenges. I also take a culturally responsive approach, recognizing how culture, identity, family, and life experiences shape each person’s journey. My areas of focus include anxiety, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, stress management, and supporting children, adolescents, and families.

What you can expect from me

Hi, I’m Oprah—and yes, I know the name comes with a little legacy energy, so I bring that same “Oprah show” vibe into therapy: positive, real, and focused on growth. I keep sessions warm, welcoming, and judgment-free, with a mix of honesty and humor when it fits, because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. The first session is relaxed and conversational, where we talk through what’s going on and what you want to change—no audience, just a safe space for you. Clients can expect support, encouragement, and a strengths-based approach that helps you feel seen and empowered. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and like you just stepped into a space that’s all about your breakthrough moment.
