Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with children, teens, and families. I’ve always been passionate about advocating for young people—helping them feel understood, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.

I earned both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Psychology from Florida International University. My areas of focus include anxiety disorders, selective mutism, ADHD, oppositional behavior, depression, and grief.

What sets me apart is my commitment to truly individualized care. I tailor each treatment plan to meet the unique needs of the child and family—whether that means using cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure work, school consultations, or support outside the therapy room. I show up fully and consistently, and I’m dedicated to doing what it takes to support your child’s, teen’s, or family’s progress.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My work is always centered around what the client needs. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and meaningful, so I make it a priority to build goals together—goals that make sense for where your child, teen, or family is right now.

I follow the client’s lead while providing structure and evidence-based tools that support real, lasting change. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and motivational interviewing. I also draw from the Unified Protocol, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to tailor treatment to each client.

My style is active, energetic, and often playful—especially with younger clients. I bring humor, honesty, and a high level of engagement to my sessions because I believe the therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool for healing. I primarily focus on treating anxiety disorders and supporting behavioral management, and I’m deeply committed to helping kids and families feel more confident, connected, and in control.

What you can expect from our first session

Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” anyone—because I don’t believe people are broken. I believe we’re all works in progress, and that’s okay. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress, support, and helping each client feel more empowered in their journey.

Clients can expect to feel deeply supported, understood, and safe in a space that’s warm, welcoming, and never rushed. I create an environment that feels cozy and calm, especially for kids and teens who may feel nervous opening up. We go at a pace that feels right, and I always meet my clients where they are.

You won’t find quick fixes here—but you will find thoughtful tools, collaborative goal-setting, and a therapist who’s fully present, involved, and committed to helping you or your child grow. Whether we’re working through anxiety, behavior challenges, or tough life transitions, you can expect compassion, structure, and a steady partner in the process.
