Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, in New Jersey. I am a bilingual counselor who speaks English and Spanish. Despite the specific reasons that clients have for seeking therapy, I always work towards helping clients become more aware and knowledgeable of themselves, of who they are and who they'd like to be. We will work towards identifying how and why we feel what we feel, behave in the way we do, and work towards becoming that person we'd like to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is largely focused on first establishing the trust clients need to express themselves. I establish the atmosphere to allow clients to allow themselves to be honest, as hard as that may be, and to feel free to say what they need to. I provide an empathetic approach to therapy to allow clients the freedom to be who they are, and express themselves. Once we obtain this, we work towards identifying your goals, and make a plan or blueprint on how to achieve them.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel lighter after the very first session. Often times, being able to say out loud the things we've never said out in the open, can be very therapeutic in and of itself. I help you create the environment and atmosphere to get into that mindset in order to do so. Clients end sessions knowing that they've been able to be who they are without fear of judgement, and walking away from session knowing themselves a little bit more than before.
