Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Orlando, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Latinx first-generation therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, ADHD, relationship struggles, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I have experience supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals and those balancing family, identity, and generational pressures.

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. I’m passionate about helping people build healthier relationships with themselves and others while creating meaningful, lasting change. I am one human being journeying alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, compassionate, and insight-oriented while still being practical and grounded in everyday life. I integrate attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, CBT, and parts work (IFS-informed) to help clients better understand their emotions, patterns, and internal experiences.

I work collaboratively with clients to explore both the “why” behind their struggles and the tools needed to move forward. Whether we’re working through anxiety, relationship conflict, trauma, burnout, or self-esteem challenges, I focus on helping clients feel emotionally safe while building self-awareness, communication skills, and healthier coping strategies.

I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and better understand each other’s needs and attachment styles.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive foundation. I’ll spend time learning about what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the process. There’s no pressure to share everything perfectly — we move at your pace.

Clients often describe my approach as calming, validating, and conversational. My goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and safe enough to be yourself. Together, we’ll start identifying patterns, strengths, and goals while developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.
