Great to meet you!

If you’re reading this, you may be carrying anxiety that will not settle, memories that hit too close, looping thoughts that keep you on edge, or life changes that have shaken your sense of safety. Reaching out can feel vulnerable, and I honor the courage it takes to begin. I support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, identity concerns, emotional overwhelm, and the weight of experiences that may feel too heavy to carry alone. I have a deep passion for supporting the BIPOC community, women’s issues, and individuals who have been historically underserved or marginalized. My goal is to create a space where your story is held with cultural care, deep respect, and steadiness — a place where you can feel understood in the fullness of who you are, without needing to shrink or justify your experience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based, person-centered, collaborative, and culturally attuned. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), experiential therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. In session, we may explore the roots of your thoughts, behaviors, emotions, relationship patterns, and body-based responses so we can better understand not only what hurts, but why it feels so heavy in your body, your relationships, and your story. We may also work on grounding skills, emotional regulation, self-compassion, values-based choices, healthier thought patterns, and tools for navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. My style is steady, compassionate, curious, and empowering. I believe therapy should help you know yourself more fully, recognize your strengths, reclaim what has been quieted, and move toward healing in a way that feels meaningful and truly yours.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a collaborative, welcoming, and culturally respectful space where your voice matters and your identity is honored. We will begin by talking about what brings you to therapy, what you have been carrying, and what you hope will feel different through our work together. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, relationship concerns, identity questions, women’s issues, life transitions, or the impact of being unheard or marginalized, we will move at a pace that feels safe and supportive. My goal is to begin understanding your story with care, identify your strengths and goals, and create a path forward that helps you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to who you are. You do not have to carry everything alone. Therapy can be a place to land, breathe, and grow.
