Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Dr. Osahon, a licensed clinician with over 10 years of experience in child welfare services, community mental health, and post-hospital care. I provide compassionate, client-centered, and trauma-informed support for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and everyday challenges. I believe every person has a unique story and that you are the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space to explore your experiences, build on your strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. Whenever you’re ready, I’m here. Let’s take this journey together.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has a unique story, and each client is the expert on their own life and experiences. My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work with clients to explore challenges, identify strengths, develop practical solutions, and address life concerns in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. I value open communication, mutual respect, and an authentic therapeutic relationship. My goal is to listen, challenge you when appropriate, and support you throughout the therapeutic process as you work toward the goals and changes that are meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

During your initial session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where we begin by getting to know one another and building a healthy therapeutic relationship. I will introduce myself and invite you to share about yourself, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You are not expected to share everything at once; my goal is to create a safe and respectful space where you can feel secure as you tell your story. Together, we will explore your concerns, strengths, and needs, and begin identifying meaningful goals for therapy.
