Clients can expect a structured, supportive first session focused on understanding their concerns and setting a clear plan for care.
During the initial visit, I’ll take time to get to know you, review your current concerns, mental health history, and goals for treatment. We’ll discuss symptoms, stressors, past treatments, and what has or hasn’t worked for you before. If appropriate, we’ll also review medication options, including benefits, risks, and alternatives, so you can make informed decisions.
The first session is collaborative and paced to your comfort level. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of next steps and how we’ll work together moving forward.
