Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual, bicultural Latina therapist supporting women, teens, and families navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, and cultural pressure. I specialize in working with first- and second-generation Latina women who are high-achieving on paper but feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or exhausted from holding everything together. Whether you are dealing with career stress, family expectations, relationship uncertainty, boundaries, motherhood, infertility or IVF, intrusive thoughts, or life transitions, it can feel like you're carrying everyone else’s expectations instead of discovering what you truly want for yourself.

My approach to therapy

Mental health does not exist in a vacuum; it is deeply tied to family, culture, and your daily environment. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and purposeful. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what is really happening, and help you build genuine confidence in your decisions so you can stop just surviving and start thriving.

For anxiety and OCD, we look at how the mind gets stuck on intrusive thoughts and the search for certainty. I utilize cognitive-behavioral approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) training, to help you gradually reduce avoidance and compulsions. I provide specialized outpatient support for teens and women experiencing OCD, including contamination, perfectionism, perinatal, real-event/false-memory, relationship OCD, and scrupulosity.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, we move beyond just venting. For women, we tackle the root of your anxiety, boundary issues, career stress, or reproductive journey transitions, including specialized support for infertility and IVF. For teens, I focus on anxiety, OCD, academic pressure, school avoidance, selective mutism, self-esteem, identity, and LGBTQIA+ support. My background in school-based social work helps me connect the dots between home, school, and cultural expectations.
