Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 20 years of experience in the clinical field. Holding a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and extensive training in various therapeutic approaches. My experience spans multiple clinical settings, including private practice, inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization programs, as well as academic environments as a university professor, and working with diverse populations in shelters and other community-based services. As a Clinical Director and Lead in various roles, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide range of areas. I am committed to providing a safe clinical space tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach recognizes that each individual is unique and unparalleled. In this sense, I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I focus on creating a space where each person can explore the topics they wish to address. Based on their personal history, I aim to provide an environment that allows them to view their concerns from a different perspective, analyze them, and adopt a new stance in relation to what troubles them. This process helps them unfold what is necessary to lead a more fulfilling life, aligned with their desires.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves and the ability to view their challenges from a new perspective. The goal is to create a safe, open environment where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions freely. In our work together, clients are encouraged to reflect on their unique personal histories and develop new ways of approaching their concerns. The outcome is not about providing immediate solutions, but rather empowering clients to develop greater insight, take ownership of their experiences, and cultivate a life that aligns with their personal desires and values.
