Great to meet you!

I help adults navigate the challenges of mood disorders, grief, personality adaptations, complex trauma, OCD, intimacy issues, and sexual concerns. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where healing, growth, and insight can unfold at your pace.

Originally trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Cuba, I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Before immigrating to the United States, I served as a Clinical Psychologist and Adjunct Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the University of Havana. My multicultural background informs a deep sensitivity to how culture, identity, and personal history influence mental health.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, grounded in a client-centered framework. Drawing from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Gestalt, and Person-Centered therapies, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, history, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain a deeper understanding of their emotional patterns, develop practical tools to manage anxiety, mood, and relational challenges, and experience a stronger sense of self-awareness and confidence. Through a compassionate and culturally sensitive therapeutic relationship, they will explore unresolved experiences, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and move toward greater emotional resilience, clarity, and connection in their lives.
