Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Ozzie Lomeli and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in East Los Angeles and at the beginning of my career, I tended to gravitate towards helping those who grew up in a similar environment; however, for the past 14 years, I've worked with a diverse background including adolescents, veterans, young adults, people struggling with addiction and those on probation. I like using humor in my approach because laughter can be great for the "soul."

My approach to therapy

I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused therapy; however, regardless of what therapeutic model I'm educated on, I find the connection I have with my clients supersedes any model.

What you can expect from me

I tend to create a laid-back environment; I never come across as if I'm the "expert" in your life and I'm here to "cure" you because I'm neither of those; Session with me feels more like someone you would be talking to at a coffee shop, a park or at a gym
