Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and the patterns that can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

I have particular experience working with adolescents, young adults, and men who may not be used to talking openly about emotions or may not yet have clear language for what they are experiencing.

Clients often come in knowing something feels off but not fully understanding what keeps happening. Together, we identify the underlying patterns, emotional blocks, and coping strategies that may once have made sense but are no longer serving you.

The way I work is collaborative, direct, and practical. I aim to create a space where you feel understood while also being challenged toward meaningful change. Therapy is not just about talking through problems. It is about building insight, emotional clarity, and taking concrete steps toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and focused on helping you understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationship dynamics that influence how you respond to life's challenges.

Many clients come into therapy knowing what they want to change but find themselves repeating the same reactions, coping strategies, or relationship patterns. Understanding those patterns is important, but meaningful change comes from learning how to recognize them in real time and respond differently.

I tend to be direct, engaged, and collaborative in session. I will meet you with empathy and curiosity while also helping you challenge beliefs, coping strategies, and emotional habits that may no longer be serving you. My goal is to help you build greater self understanding, emotional clarity, and practical tools that create lasting change outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on understanding what brought you to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope will be different moving forward.

We will talk through your current concerns, relevant background, past experiences with therapy, and any patterns that may already be contributing to the problem. I ask thoughtful questions early on, not just to gather information, but to begin making sense of what may be happening beneath the surface.

You can expect a conversation that feels structured but natural. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or explain things perfectly. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, with a clearer sense of where we are headed and how therapy may help.
