Pacific Giordano, LCSW, LADC is a CT licensed clinical social worker and substance abuse counselor creating an empowering therapeutic relationship with individuals with mental health needs is a variety of areas for over ten years. My experience comes from a variety of settings including individual, group and couple's therapy. I have extensive experience in treating both mental health (i.e. anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD) and substance use disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach is a trauma-focused approach focusing on removing barriers past trauma poses to improve mental, emotional, physical and social well-being. The approach is integrative including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and solution focused therapy.
